Enjoy an unforgettable dining experience in the outback under the sparkling southern skies before heading to the cosmopolitan city of Sydney. Best known for its unique harbourfront opera house, iconic bridge and the famous Bondi beach. Embark on a cruise to the ‘land of the Long white cloud’ – New Zealand. The country is a land of contrasts not only in lifestyle but also in landscape. Combining its native Maori heritage with modern living, sweeping island filled bays, dramatic snow-capped mountains and stunning Fjords. New Zealand is a truly captivating country that should be on everyone’s ‘must see’ destinations

Sydney Opera House

See the inside of one of the worlds most instantly recognisable and famous buildings - the iconic Sydney Opera House!

The Sydney Opera House is a miracle of architecture and engineering, a work of art that came into existence against impossible odds, to then become one of the busiest performing arts centres in the world.

Working with rich, new audio-visual components, where images are projected onto the fabric of the building itself, your guide will take you on an emotional journey that rivals any opera plot with its dramatic twists and turns. Some 1,500 performances, from opera to circus, rock and cabaret, are staged at the Sydney Opera House each year, to audiences of around 1.5 million people.

The Essential Tour takes you through the history and architecture. See what goes on inside Australia’s most famous building and get a brief overview of the Australian performing arts scene

Sounds of Silence Dinner

Entered into the Australian Tourism Hall of Fame, Sounds of Silence offers the best of the Red Centre distilled into four magical hours dining under the mind-blowing outback sky.

Your Sounds of Silence experience begins with canapés and chilled sparkling wine served on a viewing platform overlooking the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. As the sun sets and darkness falls, listen to the sound of a didgeridoo and join your table for an unforgettable dining experience and an introduction to Aboriginal culture with a traditional dance performance under the outback sky.

The attentive staff will keep your glass full with a quality selection of Australian wine and beer while the first course is served. As the night sky twinkles to life, help yourself to a bush tucker-inspired buffet that incorporates native bush ingredients such as crocodile, kangaroo, barramundi and quandong. Then, settle back and listen to the resident star talker decode the southern night sky.

Locate the Southern Cross, the signs of the zodiac, the Milky Way, as well as planets and galaxies that are visible due to the exceptional clarity of the atmosphere. After dinner, enjoy dessert with a glass of port, tea or coffee before heading back to your hotel having ticked off an unforgettable experience.

Additionally, only those passengers 21 years and older will be allowed to purchase or consume alcohol. For those whose age is questionable, picture identification may be requested.

You should dress for a cruise with Princess the same way you would for any stylish land-based resort.
Casual sportswear, including shorts, lightweight pants and jogging suits, is the order of the day both at sea and ashore in hotter climates.

Princess recommend you bring a sweater, a jacket or an all-weather coat for cool evenings, and for shore excursions, depending on your destination. Due to unpredictable weather, dont forget a hat or visor and a collapsible umbrella. Please be sure to bring proper clothing for visits to religious sites. Youll also want low-heeled, rubber soled shoes for strolling on deck, as well as comfortable walking shoes or sandals to wear.

Princess makes it easy to know what to pack and what to wear when you’re dining on-board our spectacular ships. There are two designations for dress codes: Smart Casual and Formal.

Smart Casual:
Passenger attire should be in keeping with what they would wear to a nice restaurant at home; Skirts/dresses, slacks, and sweaters for ladies, trousers and open-neck shirts for men
Inappropriate dinner wear such as pool or beach attire, shorts, ball caps and casual jeans (with fraying and/or holes) are not permitted in the dining rooms. Shoes must be worn.

When formal nights are held, please observe the dress code in the Traditional Dining and Anytime Dining venues for the enjoyment of all guests. Evening gowns and cocktail dresses are suggested for women; Tuxedos, dinner jackets or dark suits with a tie for men

All Inclusive Beverage Package:
Relax and enjoy the convenience of an all inclusive beverage package featuring any drink up to $10 including cocktails, wine, beer, sodas, lattes, cappuccinos, bottled water & more. All for just $49 per person per day.

Unlimited Soda Packages:
Guests will never be without their favourite fountain sodas, from Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and Barqs Root Beer, to nostalgic orange soda, soda water, tonic water and ginger ale. The Unlimited Soda & More Package allows guests as many fountain sodas, refreshing juices, fruity mocktails and creamy ice cream shakes as you can handle.

Clearly marked “Designated Smoking Areas” are available on-board and include a sufficient number of ashtrays that are emptied regularly. Generally, these areas include cigar lounges, a section of the nightclub and casino, as well as a portion of the open decks. As a safety precaution, passengers are reminded to properly dispose of cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco, which are never to be thrown overboard as this may be sucked back into the ship and cause fires.

The use of electronic cigarettes is allowed within the confines of the passengers stateroom (balcony not included) and within designated smoking areas only.
